For businesses needing product reviews or entire ingredient changes for their menus, the process is more in depth. Simply schedule a one hour consult to discuss your products and options; or start a conversation with a free 20 minute call if you know you want to overhaul your menu and ingredients.

What does a menu overhaul entail? If you know you want more than just information about a singular product, set up the complimentary call so I can learn more about your business. Maybe you want to switch over to non-GMO, get rid of synthetic dyes, or remove seed oils. If you’re a baker, maybe you want to change all of your ingredients to offer safer ones that are toxin free. If you’re a specialty store, perhaps you’re wondering what products to stock and need help selecting them. If you’re a restaurant, maybe you want to jump on the Organics train in order to have a selling point that makes you stick out from the competition? Whatever it may be, we’ll discuss it. Then I’ll develop a proposal for you after learning more about your business. The time limit for a job depends on your needs. Whether it’s all new ingredients or better version, you’ll need a thorough plan. As a former bakery owner, I understand the need for discretion. All of our conversations regarding your recipes and ingredients will be held in the strictest confidence.

About Michelle


Michelle Adams is a lawyer, researcher & culinary expert. She hosts the podcast, Harvesting the Truth, the Story of Our Food, where she seeks to discover what’s in our food and what it does to us. She also writes two newsletters on Substack: The Food Stoic and Skin Wise.

Michelle wasn’t always a food researcher. She was a medical litigator for most of her career before her love of baking seasonal homemade food inspired her to open a community bakeshop. As the shop owner she created all the from scratch recipes and sourced her ingredients farm to hearth.

During the Covid pandemic she became more in tune to the actual ingredients in her ingredients due to supply chain shortages. However, in an effort to heal her body from the virus, as well as heal her dog from cancer, she began researching ingredients from a different perspective altogether.

Her passions for healthier food stirred, her career totally shifted to helping people experience greater joy in life through good food that prevents disease, not cause it. She is now up to her eyeballs in researching the toxins in our food system in order to help others gain the knowledge she wishes she had long ago.
