Banana Cream Pie

Today I’m sharing a very special recipe: my husband’s favorite Banana Cream Pie. Since tomorrow is Father’s Day and I will be making this pie for him, I thought I’d share it with all of you too.

This pie was created for the bakery and it was definitely one of our most popular flavors. It turns out that a lot of people really love banana cream pie—no matter the time of year! I love to eat seasonally and to me, this cream pie feels more like a spring and summer pie. We usually began to feature it at Easter time. But that didn’t stop people from wanting it to grace every holiday table, including Thanksgiving!

What makes this pie special is the homemade vanilla pudding. I shared this recipe with my email subscribers a couple of weeks ago. After researching most all of the puddings on the market I came to the conclusion that the best ones are the ones you make from scratch. https://foodstoic.com/banana-pudding-foods/ .

Not only is this pudding healthier than any on the market due to simple pantry staples, but it tastes equally as amazing. I always believe that the best tasting desserts are the ones you make from scratch at home. It’s easy to make pudding but unfortunately, most people think it’s difficult and they shy away from even trying it. I hope I encourage you to try this at home just to show you how simple it can be. The fathers in your life will thank you for taking the extra time to make them something special, and you can keep our secret how quick and easy it is!

By the way, be sure to sneak a few bites of the pudding while it’s still warm. It’s my favorite way to enjoy it!
